We had such a lovely stay at Smits Winkel! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely safe and secure, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.
It was the perfect little getaway, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We will definitely be back soon for a few more nights—can’t wait to visit again!

A night at Smitswinkel Accommodation. A night to remember. Lovely rooms and a comfortable nights stay. They even had dstv available at such a low price. With the mall just around the corner. A lovely outdoor area, with a few activities and animals on premises. A lovely children's play area. Made for family outings

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Oudtshoorn!
Wow, what a beautiful find in the centre of Oudtshoorn. Even though it’s centrally located, you feel like you’re completely out of town the moment you step into Smitswinkel Accommodation.
Our room and bathroom were spotless. The setup is perfect for families, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and two single beds. The room is well-equipped with a bar fridge, kettle, and all the essentials—they even provide coffee, tea, and Cremora. There is a TV and free uncapped WiFi, but with so much to explore in Oudtshoorn, you won't even need the TV!
The premises also features a braai facility and a fully licensed restaurant with a fantastic menu. It’s very family-friendly, offering putt-putt and a playground for the kids. This has been our go-to stopover for many trips, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.
